GET INVOLVED

This movement is powered by Vermonters like you. From contacting representatives to connecting locally, there are many ways to take action and help repeal Act 181.

WRITE TO YOUR REPRESENTATIVES

Make Your Voice Heard

Your representatives and local officials need to hear directly from you.

Whether you’re concerned about the road rule, Tier 3, or how Act 181 affects your property, a quick email can have real impact. We’ve put together templates to make it easy to get started — just copy, edit, and send.

TESTIMONY NEEDED

The House Environment Committee is taking testimony again this week (4/5/26) on S.325, which proposes to amend Act 181.

Concerned parties can submit written testimony on what they’d like the committee to do, or impacts they should be aware of, regarding Act 181/S.325.

Check the calendar for live-stream info for these meetings.

Keep it focused on the bill, include a short description or information about impacts to you or your community, and/or amendments you’d like to see, and limit it, generally, to a page or less (250-450 words), which will improve its chances of being read.

Send your testimony to all members of the committee, and make sure to include your own representatives and senators, and specifically ask for it to be placed on the committee’s webpage so it will become a matter of public record.

PARTICIPATE IN CONVERSATIONS

What started as a small group of 100 Vermonters has quickly grown into a community of over 8,400 and continues to grow by the hundreds each day.

Farmers, families, Democrats, Republicans are united by a shared love of the land and a desire to protect it.

We are nonpartisan and unaffiliated, focused on one thing: making sure rural Vermonters have a voice.
